This is my favorite winter coat and I wear it all the time. I've been sequestered here in New York for the past few weeks without traveling (rare), but to my surprise, it's still been rather cold. Just this weekend, there was yet another snow storm that ruined my flats and my Pony Prada heels. Clearly, I am not prepared for this weather, but how lovely is it to see a jewel tone coat in a crowd of everything black? Sometimes a fresh of pop color, whether it be with a coat or a shoe, makes all the difference between a smile and a frown.

Timing has had the best of me lately and things keep happening that don't really make any sense, in a good way. I've been quite fortunate to run into friends at random locations around New York, which is both totally random, but equally awesome at the same time. For instance, just yesterday, I ran into my friend Sarah at Ralph's Coffee. The funny part about it is the fact that we were supposed to meet later in the evening for our Mai Tai family reunion. Sarah saw me sitting in real-people, work-clothes, and didn't even know if it was actually me! So last night, we relived our Necker Island holiday together over sake, Korean BBQ and deep beats at The Electric Room.
