Money never sleeps, and I totally love making money, so neither do I. This is not even a joke, even if I was joking. A few days ago, I was emailing back and forth with a friend of mine until at least 2:30 am his time on a school night. He doesn't sleep either. Apparently a lot of super smart people don't sleep. Kevin Plank only sleeps 2-3 hours at a time, then he wakes up and writes down some brilliant shit and then goes back to bed, then does it again. It's an iterative pattern. Pattern recognition is also a thing a lot super smart people understand.
So when I start my new Venture Capital Fund, or more likely, when I am handed my own fund for free as I walk up from the subway, it’s going to be awesome. It will be like that feeling of standing on top of a mountain that you just climbed up, with your hair blowing in the wind like a Disney Princess and you think to yourself, "I've made it; I've finally made it". LP's will thank me, bros will love me, tech entrepreneurs will be knocking down my door. Investors are a dime a dozen these days, but quality investors are still relatively difficult to come by (take it from experience).
I wonder if I can wear Missoni pants to work when I'm a VC. Aren't these pants groovy? My Momma got them for me and they are sick. Super comfortable, stretchy, but chic AF. Apparently a lot of winner's also use that abbreviation.
