It's unbelievable to me the amount of industries that have corporate sponsorship. I think it's a highly under utilized market. Advertising is currently being sneaky, as they generally are, in their ways of gaining more eyeballs. In particular, have you all noticed the amount of affiliate companies and fashion brands that are giving out precious swag to influential bloggers in hopes of gaining more more brand awareness lately? I feel like the rise in this commodity has increased drastically in the past years and is only getting better. But as we all know, what goes up, has to come down, so how can Coco Zaza be apart of this currently exploitation before it loses its lifeline?
Everyone from race car drivers to soccer teams have corporate sponsorship and have you looked at all the top bloggers? Chanel, Valentino, Hermes, Dior, Lancome- I don't know about you, but I'd love some free luxury swag and I'd happily take photos wearing your perfectly crafted and well-designed pieces that cost more than most peoples mortgage payments. Common luxury brands! Get your brand out there and associate it with the coolest blogger of all time (me). We could even invent ways of offering a potential increase in brand equity by associating you with me, by adding a middle name to my name, something like, Coco CHANEL Zaza- does this fall under copyright infringement? Since Coco Zaza not only works in fashion, but works in tech, you could have the potential of exposure to many other avenues, which will drastically increase revenue. For instance, if I was at a meeting with a new tech billionaire, I could easily be like, "So happy that your tech company has dominated the world in less than two years and now has a market capitalization of $20B+. Hey, I have an idea! How about you buy that $500,000 fine jewelry piece from Chanel to give to your new fembot that sits on your mega-yacht and suntans all day; could you imagine the brownie points you'd have with your tanned, fembot hottie?"
My question for everyone is where is Coco Zaza's corporate sponsor? I am now putting it out there to everyone that I am up for grabs. Do you want promotion? Do you want more eyeballs? Do you want me to live and breathe your product? Well guess what- now may be your lucky day. The fashion blogging profession has more followers and those followers love to spend cash money on things that they don't need, which is leads to fashion bloggers being influential in terms of brand marketing. So this is to all of you luxury brands out there, this an opportunity to get your products in front of the people who love to spend money and who are demonstrably fiscally irresponsible. Come get it. I've been doing some research (one of three things I'm good at) and I've come up with a few facts that I have been aggregated and validated by several credible and relevant sources: BoF, Refinery 29, Coco Zaza's mind, Vogue, LikeToKnowIt and the homeless dude at the corner:
FACT: Most of the population does not read your blog nor do they give a shit about what you have to say, but they will religiously inspect your outfit on social media sites like Instagram.
FACT: Blogging is a lot of work! Who has the time to take photos of their outfits 24/7? Most of mine are done on my lunch breaks.
FACT: Coco Zaza is Coco Zaza.
*Coco Zaza is really not up for grabs. She cannot be bought, but exceptions may apply.
